Get to know Simply Obvious
Simply Obvious is like a matchmaking service for influencers, products, and nonprofits. Our goal is to make a difference in the world by combining the powers of influence, business, and charity. We do this by pairing you with a nonprofit you believe in and a relevant company.
Simply Obvious is the first proportionate and traceable platform to connect people and products to change. In our world, everyone benefits. Our win-win-win process allows:
Join us, in three simple steps:
When you combine your following and a sponsored product with the goal of promoting a worthy nonprofit, you are creating the perfect recipe to bring attention to a cause you care about – while also making money. The products we work with are all relevant to our causes, and we know you’ll find them interesting and that your followers will appreciate being introduced to them. Finally, this increases your exposure, which will lead to a gain in followers who appreciate how much you care about our world.
Your role will vary depending on the product and the social platform(s) you use. We don’t believe in false advertising – we want to make sure that the product we pair you with is something that you actually support. Therefore, we want to get to know you – so please be as detailed as possible when you fill out your application.
Once you are accepted and matched, your biggest responsibility is posting. Your job is to bring awareness to the nonprofit you’ll be working with by reviewing and sharing a product.
Everyone has causes and charities they are passionate about, but it can be hard to have a direct impact. Working with Simply Obvious allows you to be a voice for a charity – easily. You’ll be working with great brands that you enjoy while supporting nonprofits that you care about.
We have created a sample contract in the “Contracts” tab at the top of the page. You can also read one here: (LINK)
At Simply Obvious, we want to make sure that any company with fits your interests and target demographics. When you sign up, you’ll have the chance to let us know what you and your followers are interested in and which products or brands you would enjoy working with. If we can’t find a match within our current brands, we’ll reach out to new brands to create a perfect partnership.
When we pick an organization we look at what your nonprofit is focused on changing. When you sign up you will let us know what your goal is, what type of niche you are in, and what influencers/brands you would like to work with. After we will reach out to brands to find the perfect match for you. Then we will reach out to the product companies and influencers and create a contract/proposal for you! Then we will send you an email.
We know how important maintaining a natural posting schedule is, so there is no one-size-fits-all rule for posts. We want to create a campaign that benefits both you and your followers, with the ultimate goal of supporting a nonprofit. Don’t worry – you’ll be allowed to negotiate posting details.
Yes, we’ll be sending out your media kit to companies so they understand your influence and audience. Please attach this when you sign up.
This varies according to the brand and nonprofit you’d like to work with. We have no minimum threshold because an engaged audience and proof that your followers are interested in what you have to say goes a long way.
Yes! One of the greatest aspects of Simply Obvious is that you can help raise awareness for your nonprofit by partnering with multiple products. This raises more money for both you and them.
Each partnership is tailor-made, so the timeline depends on the brand and how intricate you’d like your contracts to be. We will be in contact with you throughout the process to provide updates as we receive them.
There is nothing to lose! How much you profit will depend on how the product sells, so the sky is the limit.
